CONFORMABILITY AND MOULDABILITY
Our casting tape, made of ideal structure of Polyester knitted tape, has multi-directional stretch(length, cross and diagonal way); this makes it easier to wrap and shape the contours of the human body especially bony prominences such as joints, elbows, ankles, heels, etc. without tucking or folding.

LESS DUST
Our casting tape produces significantly much less dust than fiberglass products during removal with conventional cast saw after use. (Polyester dust is much less harmful than fiberglass dust)

RADIOLUCENCY
Excellent X-ray translucency makes it easier to take a correct diagnosis and to examine the process of patient's recovery. Our casting tape is superior in radiolucency compared to fiberglass as seen in the pictures below. This is especially important in the treatment of distal radius, ulna fractures or wrist bone fractures.

BETTER SANITATION
Our casting tape　has moisture resistance and porosity, so it dries easily; prevents bad odors,

skin contagions or other complications caused by moisture inside the cast.

EASY TO REMOVAL
Our casting tape　is easy to remove after use.

Conventional cast saw or shears can be used for removal of the cast.

STRENGTH

Our casting tape, made of Polyester, has all the strength, rigidity and lightness you expect from fiberglass casting tapes. "Nemoa™ Cast" is 5 times as light as conventional plaster cast and 85% as light as fiberglass products.

APPLICATION:

1) Apply stockinet and padding over area which is to be cast.
2) Wear gloves for application.
3) Open one tape at a time.
4) Immerse tape for 5 seconds in water.
5) Construct the cast by wrapping spirally.

STRARGE:

1) Take care to avoid puncturing the pouch, for this will cause the tape to harden prematurely
    in the package.
2) It is recommended that this product be stored at the dry place below room temperature.
    NOTE : Storage at higher or lower temperatures may affect the shelf-life and
    handling properties of the product.
    NOTE : Product stored at high or low temperatures should be allowed to return to
    the room temperature before application. And each pouch should be gently
    squeezed prior to opening to check suitability for application.
    Do not use the tape that feels hard.
3) The shelf-life of Nemoa casting tape stored by the above method is about two years.

PRECAUTIONS:

1) Disposable Poly-Gloves should be worn while handling the tape, for the polyurethane resin
    in Nemoa casting tape products will adhere firmly to unprotected skin and to clothing.
2) Swabbing lightly with alcohol or acetone may help in removing the resin contact
    with the skin and cast equipment if done immediately.
3) If the bandaged casts are in the wet state, the casts must be dried carefully by a kind of
    Towel or portable Hairdryer, for prolonged or too frequent wetting or ineffective drying,
    can lead to skin maceration or other complications.
4) This casting material imposes fewer restrictions on patients than a heavy plaster cast.
    Therefore patients should be cautioned against vigorous activities which may interfere
    with proper healing or cast care.
